As an Account Manager, you will be working within a highly successful sales team to proactively develop, manage and grow sales and relationships with existing customers and partners.
Your main responsibilities will be hunting and onboarding new customers, identifying new opportunities, and contacting new leads supporting customers and partners, increasing our brand awareness, and hitting individual and team sales targets.
Whilst you won’t be expected to know your Kernels from your Kubernetes from day one, you will need a head for technology, a passion to learn and a drive to be better every day.

What you'll be doing?
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of our clients resellers, and their business needs.
- You will be introducing core product sets to each account focusing on their Strategic Vendors. Profiling your accounts to develop multiple contacts within each account at Sales Support, Account Executive, Account Manager, Project Manager/Management level.
- Report back to your line manager on sales pipeline/account profitability/sales opportunities/general account activities.
- Working with the Base Camp team to provide an excellent level of customer service.
- Introducing Company proposition to both new and existing partners.
- Establish new business opportunities with targeted accounts through prospecting, networking, qualifying, and closing techniques.
- Creating a long-term pipeline and strategies.
- Continually learn about new products and improve your knowledge and selling skills.
- Providing customer quotations and work closely with other teams to ensure world class service for their customers.
- Request and source quotes from our strategic suppliers, creating base products to enable quick quotes.
- Targeted account activity, warm calling – in line with strategic plan.
- Spotting and acting on upsell, cross-sell, and consolidation of opportunities.
- Participate in and following up of all marketing activity and vendor campaigns.
- Be familiar with the Company systems, keep databases up-to-date and engage in product, systems and skills training and development as required.

Salary £25,000 plus commission (c£32,000 OTE).
Working in the office in Ashburton, Devon. Once you have passed probation there is an option to work part of the week from home.
