Business Development Manager - Software

Job Purpose

  • Drive new business through growing existing customer base and developing relationships with new customers. You will provide support such as; report creation and analysis, and sales floor activities.
  • You will work with the sales and marketing teams on developing opportunities.
  • The role will require flexibility, and the Business Development Manager must be able to show maturity and be able to spend nights away/travel as and when required for business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the relationship with key vendors on a day to day basis.
  • Develop brand awareness in the channel.
  • Internal liaison and development.
  • Generate new business sales and opportunities.

The Person

  • Ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
  • A self-motivated and a driven character, being capable of working under minimal supervision on stated goals/KPIs and with good time management skills.
  • Must be adept in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Accurate record keeping skills to deadlines.
  • Literacy skills are required including spelling, grammar and punctuation for emails and contracts.
