Business Development Support/Administrator - Ashburton - Devon £18K plus quarterly bonus, 20 days holiday, Pension, Healthy Living Programme plus much more! - Sales Ref: 36 Date Posted: Monday 20 Aug 2018 ShareMore You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Business Development and other members within the team in all administrative tasks required by both the company and its vendor partners and helping to manage new business revenue and lead generation targets. Key accountabilities: Support the team with the management of key vendor relationships: Provide feedback on opportunities and sales activity; Provide verbal and written updates to the vendor; Provide verbal and written updates to the Head of Business Development; Provide regular reports as required by the vendor, which may include weekly, monthly and quarterly reports; Help to manage special pricing or high value sales opportunities. Internal liaison and development: Work closely with vendors to ensure product information and pricing is received and effectively shared throughout the business and made available to customers; Work with internal management on Business Intelligence and analytical activities; Support the delivery of Business Development plans; Work closely with Marketing and Sales team to communicate, develop and understand activity required by reseller. To be considered for this role, you will have: A “customer focussed” mentality, driven by the desire and sole objective of increasing and maintaining vendor/reseller satisfaction. Attention to detail, efficiency, accuracy, customer liaison and dialogue and the ability to cope with a high workload and to stay calm and assured under pressure. Must be an excellent telephone communicator, some experience of calling out to customers would be advantageous. Must be adept in use of MS Office. Good English verbal and written communication. Experience of working in a sales environment as part of a collaborative team would be advantageous. The Benefits. Why you will love working for us!
