The handler will be required to assist the client from first notification of loss through to supplying the appropriate vehicle. Whilst full training is provided you will need to demonstrate: Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to accurately record information obtained Ability to problem solve Ability to understand and follow written guidelines Ability to work as part of a team Ability to prioritise tasks Computer literate – ability to use case management software and spreadsheets Claims experience desirable but not essential. Principle job responsibilities: Taking incoming calls and First notification of loss of Road traffic accidents this is very detailed and does require lots of accurate information to be gathered. Dealing with all non-fault claims, requesting witness evidence, using google maps calling all parties involved to get Liability established in order to provide a replacement vehicle. Booking vehicles into garages and speaking to Taxi Licensing authorities to get the replacement vehicle licensed. Working as part of a team to ensure all deliveries are met and outstanding caseloads are up to date. Using basic office equipment for post & Scanning. Speaking to operations to discuss vehicle requirements and allocations. Starting salary £20,000-£21,000 plus team bonus (est. £150 per month). 40 hour week working 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
