Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions Engineer - Azure **remote working**

We cover all aspects from designing cloud-based infrastructures solutions though to building technical architecture in the cloud. We’re also creating new cutting-edge packaged services. Your role will range from migrating customer infrastructure environments into the cloud, to being a technical resource from which to assist and advise customers on adopting the best cloud solution for them. You will be in charge of your own workload and will be responsible for planning, documenting, implementing and delivering projects for our customers. You’ll work closely as part of an established team that will guide you in the ways of the cloud as well as benefit from a training programme that will ensure you’re successful.

About you

Ideally, you’ll have a least three years experience in infrastructure, relevant industry certifications (Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104 as a minimum) Demonstrable experience deploying and supporting IaaS / PaaS Cloud workloads including:

• Virtual machines
• Hybrid and cloud networking, including VPNs
• Storage / database services, e.g. Blob, S3, Cosmos DB, Amazon RDS
• Application hosting / micro services, e.g. Azure App Services, Logic Apps
• Container platforms, e.g., Amazon ECS, Docker, Azure Container Services
• Identity and Access management solutions, e.g. Azure AD
• Monitoring services, e.g. CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
• Security services, e.g. Azure Defender
• Desktop virtualisation services

Other skills we’re looking for:

• Experience in the migration of workloads from on-premises to cloud, or between cloud environments
• Experience of automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or other tools
• An understanding of the principles of high availability and disaster recovery
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Someone with a passion for new technology who is always willing to learn new areas and keep their skills up to date
