PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To manage and develop the creation of engaging content for our clients, working across various marketing channels including web, social media, blogs, e-mail and presentation platforms
  • To help develop, maintain and input digital content across a range of social channels, websites and databases with high levels of accuracy
  • To support senior management in marketing and development of audience engagement for the brand
  • To liaise with clients professionally and ensure all stakeholders are kept well informed of project deadlines and requirements
  • To provide essential administrative support for a range of agency tasks helping to ensure projects meet specified deadlines

MAIN DUTIES

  • Creating engaging content for social media accounts ensuring alignment with the brand strategy
  • Utilise key insights and research to inform what content to create for campaigns
  • Day to day management of social media and email communications channels
  • Creating best practice guidelines and content marketing strategy
  • Collation of reports using platform insights and Google Analytics
  • Updating and implementing content into a range of client marketing materials and CMS tools with high levels of accuracy. This includes proofreading, checking of spelling, grammar and formatting of content
  • Ensuring visual and written content meets defined client corporate identities including tone of voice
  • Remaining up to date with the latest social media tools and best practices
  • Using a variety of project management tools and techniques to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Actively working to strengthen relationships with each client to establish positive working relationships as a reliable point of contact
  • Briefing designers and content implementers as well as any other junior team members involved in project rollout/delivery
  • Ensuring workflow processes are as efficient and client-centric as possible in managing amends and approval
  • Actively contributing to the creative process of the agency as it develops new design and marketing solutions for its clients
  • Help to develop an on-going communication strategy and publishing calendar based on marketing objectives and community feedback
  • Deputize for the Senior Content Marketing Manager when requested
  • Attend client meetings (in the UK and potentially abroad) when required

COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the team in pitching and proposing content marketing solutions to new prospects
  • Aid the team in identifying and establishing opportunities for growth within existing accounts
  • Work with the team to ensure the profitability and efficiency of the department is maximised
  • Help develop new ideas and services within the department

KEY SKILLS

  • Talented copywriter for digital marketing, with impeccable attention to detail and understands the importance of tone of voice
  • Competent project manager, able to multitask and prioritise
  • Experienced using content scheduling tools
  • Able to analyse, interpret and report on social media insights and data from Google Analytics
  • Dedicated, organised and self-motivated, with strong communication skills both in writing and in person
  • Experience in a similar role (ideally B2B agency and with experience/passion for hair & beauty)
  • Graduate in marketing relevant degree: Marketing, Journalism or Multimedia
