Customer Service Advisor - Paignton - Devon

Working as a member of our Customer Service team you will have day to day contact with our customers and be responsible for generating sales orders and delivering superior service to our valued customers across the UK.

We’re a small, very friendly office and you will need to be flexible, willing to learn and take on a variety of work. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Answering calls and taking messages for the sales team.
  • Provide customers with the highest level of service when handling their order.
  • Entering sales orders onto our computer system.
  • To advise on ETA’s and deal with any queries in relation to orders.
  • Following up quotes and opportunities by phone and email.
  • Provide and maintain a record of activities and progress.
  • General filing and office admin.

Whilst we’ll provide training and support, you’ll need to have:

  • Experience within a telephone based customer service role.
  • Good data processing skills - quick and accurate.
  • Ability to build relationships with our valued customers.
  • Good communication skills – comfortable on the phone, good standard of written work (e-mail).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Accurate record keeping skills.

What we’re offering?

  • A full time, permanent job. Our standard hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours), however, we can be flexible and would consider a 35 hour week.
  • £17,000 - £18,000 per annum salary.
  • 28 days holiday inclusive.
