Central Newton Abbot (On-site parking/easy to reach by public transport) Working with a great bunch of people, you will be responsible for dealing with customers over the telephone providing a range of pre and post-sales support, processing orders, handling enquiries and complaints, and providing an excellent level of customer service. Day to day duties will include: Receiving orders by telephone and online, advising customers on a wide range of products, agreeing specific requirements, ensuring delivery dates and service expectations are understood. Inputting sales, logging all information on calls and maintaining detailed and accurate records. Suggesting alternative products (out-of-stock items) and cross-selling additional accessories/products. Processing telephone and weborder payments. Dealing with any customer complaints; analysing evidence and documentation to investigate complaints and make decisions based on client policy. Action order returns and exchanges and following up until closed. Ensuring that all administration is undertaken in a timely and accurate manner. Skills/experience required: Experience of working in an office or call centre environment, handling enquiries by phone and email. Confident communicator, people skills, and a relationship builder with tact and diplomacy where required. Able to use own initiative to confidently to deal with customer problems. Excellent organisational skills and problem solving ability with keen attention to detail. Confident and capable on a keyboard - quick and accurate. You must have a competent approach to IT. Ambition to progress. Additional Information: £20,000 to £22,000 depending on experience. 40 hours per week – core hours 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. 28 days holiday inclusive of Public/Bank Holidays.
