Digital Content Manager (Part Time) - Exeter - Devon

This role requires exceptional communication and project management skills in order to manage the day-to-day running of our client’s website and 29 localized country versions.

From start to finish, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the digital launch of our client’s new product launches or line extensions.  After a kick-off call briefing with the client’s brand team, you will create a webpage proposal – working closely with our content editors and designers to ensure the briefing is fulfilled. This also includes creating and writing a text document, based on the brand’s marketing material and best practices for SEO, which will be used as a briefing for translators and implementers.

After a presentation of the webpage proposal and text document to the client, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of the approved webpages across all 29 of the client’s global websites. This requires liaising with each relevant country to confirm their individual country launch date, sending/receiving their translation text document and briefing our content editors to ensure the update is implemented and launched on the correct website on their relevant launch day.

This process will require in-depth knowledge of the AEM system/components, close attention to detail and high standards of oral and written communication skills.

You will also be required to record and report to the directors on the budget position of each project.

KEY DUTIES

  • Managing full website launch of client product launch/line extension, from receiving original brief to executing launches across their 29 websites
  • Creating and implementing content into a range of client marketing materials and CMS tools with high levels of accuracy. This includes copywriting, proofreading, checking of spelling, grammar and formatting of content
  • Ensuring visual and written content meets standards of work and defined client corporate identities
  • Ensuring that client projects are meeting key stages and deadlines as outlined in project schedules
  • Using a variety of project management tools and techniques to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Providing a reliable point of contact between client and agency, managing all communication politely and professionally
  • Briefing designers and content implementers as well as any other team members involved in project rollout/delivery
  • Managing the delivery of assets and materials effectively
  • Managing the client amend and approval process agency side
  • Ensuring all team members involved in project delivery are recording time accurately, and reporting project finance regularly into senior management
  • Contributing to the team’s creative output, including industry-relevant research, content proofing and blog writing on the website

KEY SKILLS

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written skills coupled with an affinity for digital media and software
  • Competent project manager, able to multitask and prioritise
  • Dedicated, organised and self-motivated, with excellent written and personal communication skills
  • Min. 2 years experience in a similar role, working daily within a Content Management System
  • Proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), JIRA & Confluence ticketing preferably, however training can be given
  • Graduate in marketing relevant degree

15-month contract. 9am-2pm or 8.30-1pm role, 5 days a week.
