Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DSEAR Project Engineer to join their team. As a DSEAR Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that comply with DSEAR and supporting field engineers in their on-site works.

Responsibilities  

  • Design and implement mechanical systems and equipment that comply with DSEAR regulations
  • Manage DSEAR Installation and inspection works across the South West
  • Perform risk assessments and identify potential hazards related to mechanical systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to DSEAR compliance, including risk assessments, safety reports, and management plans
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that DSEAR compliance is integrated into all aspects of mechanical system design and operation
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders on DSEAR compliance and related topics
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DSEAR regulations and related technologies, and provide recommendations on best practices and process improvements  

About You 

  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field would be preferred
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with DSEAR regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with CAD software and other design tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional certification in DSEAR compliance or related field is a plus
