E-Learning Co-ordinator - Newton Abbot - Devon

Working with a great bunch a people (warm-hearted, respectful and inclusive of others), the key purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of training across different areas of the UK and to help lead with the integration of Totara, our Moodle based e-learning platform into our everyday training operations.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparing programs and courses for launch on Totara.
  • Enrolling users onto programs using automated imports on Totara.
  • Support our trainers in the delivery of e-learning by monitoring course completion, ensuring activities are completed and assignments uploaded.
  • Setting up and scheduling online e-mentoring sessions.
  • Ensuring user records are kept accurate and up to date on Totara.
  • Providing 1st line support for user queries and liaising with our support partners to resolve 2nd/3rd line support queries.
  • Liaising with Relationship Managers to plan face to face training events and courses.
  • Liaising with trainers, delegates, venues and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of courses - processing course bookings for open access courses; co-ordinating the smooth running of commissioned ‘in-house’ courses; organising the distribution of training materials to trainers; and processing course paperwork.
  • Monitoring course material stock levels and advising the Team Leader when appropriate.
  • Ensuring the smooth handover of delegate follow-up to Membership Services Team.
  • Assisting with the collation and analysis of training management information.
  • Scheduling courses and Capacity planning.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

Essential

  • Previous experience of administrating Totara/Moodle.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, having strong analytical skills and an ability to think proactively.

Desirable

  • Experience in a training or education environment.
  • Educated to degree level.
