What you’ll be doing
As their Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Creation and monitoring of client ledgers to ensure invoices are raised and paid
- Assisting with payments of invoices to agencies
- Ensuring that clients remain within their allocated budget
- Dealing with enquiries from clients, their carers/agencies and the relevant Local Authorities
- Maintaining client files to ensure accurate record keeping
- Processing weekly payment runs in a timely manner to ensure care is not disrupted for clients
- Production of reports for BACS payments
- Working closely with Local Authorities to ensure contribution payments are met by the clients
- Assisting with any other duties that or may arise from time to time

Additionally you will need:
- Previous relevant experience
- Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office
- Strong numeracy, high level of accuracy and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well within a team
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
Hours
- 22.5 hours per week (working days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
