We have a newly created position for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and take responsibility for all marketing and external communications and provide inspirational leadership to the marketing team. This job will involve a high level of decision making at an individual and team level.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage Marketing department of 4.
  • Create and deliver brand values to both internal and external audiences.
  • Work with strategic vendors to develop and deliver marketing plans.
  • Ensure that all activity is delivered effectively, efficiently and consistently, whether for direct or indirect communications.
  • Propose and manage the relevant budgets for marketing and communications expenditure both for company and vendor specific activity. 
  • Build strong, engaged relationships with vendor and reseller marketing/channel teams.
  • Provide monthly marketing update and competitor review to the Managing Director.
  • Support Sales & Business Development teams to provide bespoke campaigns where appropriate.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Demands:

  • Work collaboratively with other Heads of Departments to deliver Company annual plan.
  • Work in a high pressured environment to deadlines.
  • Need to be able to effectively prioritise workload.
  • Manage marketing line reports to ensure department’s key deliverables back to the business are met.
  • Predominantly office based role with some UK & International travel required.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A portfolio of successful marketing activities.
  • Experience of managing a successful marketing team.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presenting, analytical and creative skills.
  • Ability to deliver successfully against tight deadlines.
  • Great IT skills - Microsoft Office applications and CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE grade C and above including Math’s and English.
  • Graduate with minimum 2:1 (desirable).
