Hot Tub & Swim Spa Engineer Supervisor - Newton Abbot - Devon c£30-33.5k per year - Engineering Ref: 371 Date Posted: Monday 22 Apr 2024 Our client is a multi award-winning hot tub and swim spa retailer in Devon. Due to expansion they are looking for an experienced Hot Tub, Swim Spa and Pool Engineer/Installer to carry out installs, servicing and maintenance. This is a senior role which will involve supervising and overseeing the work of the technical team. Responsibilities Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support in their daily activities as well as completing your own duties Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Organising and overseeing the delivery and installation of hot tubs and swim spas Service and repairs such as fitting replacement pumps, heaters, pipe work repairs, servicing filters etc. Overseeing the ‘handover’ and aftercare of hot tubs and spas for customers Chemical management Loading spas using a fork lift / unloading containers of spas and parts Reporting back to customer service with client paperwork and outcome of visits About you Experience in working with hot tubs and pools, plumbing and pipe work A sound understanding of electrics within hot tubs and swim spas Ability to work independently and solve problems Provide exceptional customer service, strong communications skills A clean driving license (forklift license would be an advantage plus license to drive with a trailer) Possible experience in Tylo saunas and steam rooms To be motivated and pro-active team member, who can make a positive impact to the business This is a physical job which involves heavy lifting, working in tight spaces at time, and is mainly spent outdoors, a van will be provided to enable you to visit clients. Weekend work is also required at times checking the showroom spas.
