This is a new role to support the Group HR Manager and provide HR support on all aspects of HR to the business. Responsible for overseeing complex employee relations issues as well as disciplinary/grievance processes as needed. The HR Business Partner will establish and maintain influential relationships with relevant stakeholders, ensuring an excellent quality and coverage of HR support at all times.

This is a fantastic role for someone with experience in a HR Manager or HR Business Partner role that is wanting a new challenge and wants to join our growing and fast-paced organisation. This role has the added benefit of being the mentor for the ongoing development of a small HR team.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 year’s HR management experience in a HR generalist role. CIPD qualified to level 5 you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude. Being a team player is essential, along with the ability to be discreet, professional and reliable. The right person will need to be competent and confident with IT and have strong MS Office skills.


  • Significant experience as a HR Advisor or Business Partner in a generalist role
  • Experience of recruiting at all levels of an organisation
  • Strong ER knowledge and skills
  • Line Management experience is advantageous
  • Ideally experience in a manufacturing, construction or engineering environment
