Insurance Advisor (FT or PT) - Paignton - Devon

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has gained at least 1 years’ commercial and/or personal lines insurance experience looking for an interesting and varied job with opportunity to learn about different areas of insurance.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing advice and suitable policies to clients on Motor, Home, Business and travel insurance
• Processing and negotiating new business and renewal of policies
• Issuing relevant documents ensuring they are accurate and compliant
• Building exceptional customer service levels, to maintain long term strong relationships

What we need from you

You will be able to deal confidently with clients both face to face and over the phone. You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with both an existing client base and new business opportunities, and will demonstrate strong communication skills and an enthusiastic sales ability, whilst being approachable and professional. In addition you will have:

• Accurate administration skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Knowledge of FCA, DPA etc.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Salary & Benefits

Salary is up to £23k depending on skills and experience. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, 5:00pm finish on Fridays plus opportunity for part time hours. No weekend work.
