Insurance Advisor - Torquay - Devon

This is a fast-paced, customer focused sales position that will challenge you, develop you and reward you with salary increases and a generous bonus structure that reflects your contribution. Working in our friendly, target-driven sales environment you will be required to work as part of a team and individually to provide support to clients to ensure conversion of new business, service of existing clients and retention of renewals to achieve and delivery company income targets in accordance with company procedures and complaint and regulatory requirements.

The position will demand the very best of your sales and customer services skills as you deal with new and existing customers, both over the phone and face to face. Previous insurance experience is not essential as you will be given all training, coaching and encouragement you need to be successful in your career.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from clients, brokers and underwriters received by phone, letter or e-mail and ensure that all information required by the client or underwriters in obtained and communicated
• Complete the key task of "fact finding" to identify clients’ requirements
• Obtain and communicate quotations, advising the most appropriate in terms of price and cover to meet the applicant’s needs
• Discuss additional covers and identify potential cross sales and up sell opportunities
• Assist and support in the generation of new leads and enquiries
• Issue written correspondence, policy documents, and monitor/check and process documents received from insurers
• Deal with existing clients on policy amendments and claims
• Ensure that the system records are created and updated
• Manage the collection of payments
• Comply with all regulations as set by the FCA

This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm. Realistic OTE c£24,174 to £28,076 per year.
