Marketing Executive (Hybrid working) - Devon

Our client is an ambitious B2B cloud, software and services reseller and provider. As a reseller, it’s critical they drive awareness, demand, and sales for the brands they represent – Microsoft, Intel, Sophos and the like. You’ll play a key role in delivering and assessing activity for these market leaders.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Email and social media
  • Website content creation and updates
  • Campaign reporting

They're big on events – in person, digital and hybrid – so any experience in this area will be highly beneficial.  And if you have experience of using Adobe CS to create basic creative assets all the better.

You’ll need a head for technology – you’ll be having conversations around cloud computing, SaaS providers, APIs and such. You'll be trained on the specifics, but you need to have an inherent love for geeky concepts. Likewise, you’ll be expected to take the initiative, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and generally find a way of moving things forward. This role includes internal presentations and so you need to be able to present and debate ideas with a wide range of people. In return, you’ll gain experience of market-leading brands and be supported by a team of friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. The role is a mix of office and remote working and they'll help you get set up for this.

What you’ll need to thrive…

Marketing Skills and Experience:

  • At least 18 months B2B marketing experience, ideally within a technical and sales-focused business
  • Event planning and delivery – in person, digital and hybrid
  • Email marketing – messaging, copy, creation, delivery and assessment
  • Social media content creation and delivery
  • Web content creation including, especially copywriting and editing

They'd also love experience of: creating template driven graphics in Adobe CS; B2B sales asset creation such as slide decks; writing briefs and working with designers; Google Analytics.

Education:

  • Degree level education. Ideally in Marketing, Communications or a commercially orientated subject
  • Formal marketing qualifications will be a benefit
