Marketing Executive - Ashburton - Devon

A vital part of the marketing team who will work alongside our sales and business development teams to actively promote the brand whilst driving profitable, sustainable and ethical growth of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive inbound leads through the creation, publication and promotion of engaging content, ensuring all copy is targeted, concise and compelling. 
  • Ensure all activity is coordinated, on-brand, measured and analysed.
  • Manage general web content in conjunction with our in-house designer. 
  • Manage the creation, delivery and analysis of our monthly newsletter, marketing emails and social media activity.
  • Work with the marketing, business development and sales teams to plan, implement and analyse outbound promotional campaigns ensuring objectives are met and delivery is on brief, budget and schedule. 
  • Build relationships with vendor marketing teams.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Ideally you will have 2+ years’ b2b marketing experience within a growth focused environment.
  • Demonstrable understanding of key segmentation, targeting and messaging practices. 
  • Copywriting experience is a must have. 
  • Worked with CRM and email marketing systems.
  • Experience of WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics – fundamentals are fine.
  • Commercial or communications focused degree.
  • Ability to learn and understand technically advanced concepts and products.

Training provided: Introduction to Project Management; Google Analytics training; Vendor sales and marketing training from specialists plus 1 CIM course from an approved list.
