Membership Services Coordinator (4 day week) - Newton Abbot - Devon

£20-24k pro rata - Secretarial, PA and Administration

Part-time (4 day week) 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave cover. Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

The Role

The key purpose of this role is to provide engaging communication with our members, Licensed Practitioners and Trainers. The requirements of the job will be many and varied, commensurate with the needs of a dynamic, high growth business. 

Reporting to the Member Services Manager, your responsibilities will be as follows: 

  • In-bound and outbound communications using a variety of media including phone, forums, newsletters and email
  • Participating in and leading on a portfolio of project work
  • Supporting members by building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Contributing to and developing improved processes and membership services
  • Contributing to and supporting: the ongoing development of a comprehensive package of membership benefits; improved methods of communication and engagement with members; the preparation of management reports
  • Managing day-to-day queries
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date database records
  • Carrying out analysis of member course feedback
  • Processing the certification of members
  • Liaising with other teams as needed, including the Training and Content Development teams, to ensure course paperwork has been received and up to date resources are available to members

About you 

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • First class customer service and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation, administration and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Highly computer literate and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with direct marketing techniques, CRM systems and database management
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise as well as the flexibility to move between routine tasks and more complex development projects
  • Ability to foster good working relationships with all staff and members
  • Ability to support members and colleagues in an empathetic and helpful manner
  • Ability to critically evaluate activities and contribute to improved processes and member service outcomes
  • Commercial awareness

Desirable:

  • Experience in a membership environment
  • Degree in an appropriate field Package
