Office Administrator (PT) - Totnes - Devon

£10 per hour, pension, annual bonus of 7.5%, annual training allowance of up to £1,000 - Secretarial, PA and Administration

Our company is looking for an organized and self-motivated office administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office personnel. The office administrator’s role will include working closely with our Payroll and Finance Teams.

In order to be successful in this position you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes, and presentations.
  • Preparation and postage of payroll packs as and when requested.
  • Making sure the post gets distributed to the relevant team member and franked at the end of the shift.
  • Setting up new clients when they get referred.
  • Maintenance of client listing, to make sure that all new clients are added and closed clients are closed.
  • Monitoring clients bank accounts and reporting anomalies to the Finance Manager.
  • Making sure client’s digital folders are tidy and easily accessible.
  • Responsibility over office stationery stock and passing orders to Finance Manager.
  • Assisting with any other duties that may arise from time to time.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years’ office administration experience.
  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Benefits & Remuneration

  • 20 hours per week, working 4 days a week with Tuesday off.
  • Working hours will be from 10am-3pm, however this can be discussed further.
  • £10.00 per hour.
  • Discretionary annual bonus of 7.5% in respect of the previous financial year ended 31 March.
  • Annual training allowance of up to £1,000, reviewable annually.
  • 20 days of annual leave plus bank holiday pro-rated.
  • Workplace training will be given and, for a suitable candidate, training towards a professional qualification may be provided.
