Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Receiving orders by telephone, email and online. Processing sales orders, working towards deadlines and cut off times. Act as point of contact for the customer, to advise of ETAs and deal with any other queries in relation to orders. To ensure that any customer complaints are managed through to resolution keeping the relevant departments informed of the nature of the complaint, reporting progress and feeding back to the customer. Action order returns and exchanges and following up until closed. Processing customer quotes. Maintain a record of activities and progress. Filing and general office administration. Providing telephone cover when other departments are busy. Whilst we’ll provide training and support, you’ll need to have: Experience of working in an office environment handling enquiries by phone and email. Good data processing skills - quick and accurate. Great communication skills – comfortable on the phone, good standard of written work for emails. Problem solving and judgemental skills. Experience using Microsoft Office. Accurate record keeping skills. What we’re offering? A full time, permanent job. Our standard hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours), however, we can be flexible and would consider a 35 hour week. £17,000 per annum with regular salary reviews. 28 days holiday inclusive.
