About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Operations Administrator to join a growing team operating across both the human and veterinary healthcare sectors. This is a varied role supporting multiple departments and is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
As an Operations Administrator, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll handle customer orders, support internal teams, and provide essential administrative assistance to senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and fulfil orders and contracts for both human and veterinary customers.
- Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Communicate with external partners and customers to provide excellent service and support.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager, Head of Research, and Regulatory Compliance Lead.
- Support various business functions, including Operations, Sales, and Research.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable managing a variety of administrative tasks.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - confident engaging with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance standards.
- Previous experience in business administration or customer service within a regulated industry is preferred.
What’s on Offer
- £25,000–£27,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience
- 32-hour working week initially, with scope to increase to full time
