Job Purpose

  • Working closely with the publisher and the internal sales team you will help to improve and implement the sales and marketing plan to increase the levels of business.
  • Speak to new and existing customers via the phone and in person to build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Arrange and attend events to increase awareness and identify sales opportunities.
  • Find ways to fill training gaps and get product used by a younger generation of users.
  • Integrate with the existing UK and Ireland Developer communities.
  • Use knowledge gained to provide support to wider sales team to identify and close opportunities.
  • Spearhead marketing collateral creation and increase web and social presence.Increase the regularity, quality and response from marketing campaigns.
  • Run pipeline reviews and provide reporting back to team leader and Publisher.
  • Office based role with travel for events, customer visits and meet ups and partner events and meetings.

Decision Making

The Job involves a high level of decision making and is a new role.  The ideal candidate will have a passion to succeed, demonstrate expertise in Sales and Marketing and have the ability to turn new and unique ideas into reality and project manage to successful completion.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive to meeting sales targets.
  • Build up a high level and working knowledge of product - full training will be provided.
  • Build marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive new business sales.
  • Delivering excellent service to customers.
  • Accurate reporting and feedback.
  • Build working relationship with publisher stakeholders.

The Person

  • Experience of working in an office environment, handling enquiries by phone and email.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word. PowerPoint and CRM are an advantage.
  • Confident communicator with great people skills - a good relationship builder that can inspire with tact and diplomacy.
  • Accurate record keeping and reporting skills.
  • Great written and spoken English.
  • Problem solving and judgemental skills.
  • GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English.
