Working with a great bunch of people (warm-hearted, committed and eager to make a difference, straight-forward and fun!) the purpose of this role is to support regional staff in securing new business and to boost interest in the Company. The requirements of the job will be many and varied, commensurate with the needs of a dynamic, high growth business. Working within the Relationship Development Team, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


  • Handling and processing new business enquiries demonstrating a wholeheartedly client focused approach
  • Supporting the Regional Teams to increase awareness of the Company in different parts of the country
  • Processing and following up online registrations
  • Progressing enquiries and leads to confirmed bookings
  • Processing individual bookings and commissioned courses
  • Providing a smooth handover of commissioned courses to the Training Team
  • Looking for opportunities to upsell when appropriate
  • Updating course flyers and other relationship development materials
  • Using IT systems to maintain accurate information on leads and bookings
  • Contributing to team and process development 

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral and an excellent telephone manner
  • First class customer service and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and multi task, whilst being confident to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly numerate and literate
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in a training or education environment
  • Familiarity with direct marketing techniques, CRM systems and database management
  • Business development experience
  • Educated to degree level 


  • Annual salary dependent on qualifications and experience
  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days per year plus bank holidays (Pro rata)
