Relationship Development Coordinator **Home Based**

This is an opportunity to join an exciting, high growth business whose head office is based in Devon. The role is home based but has the need to be able to travel to Devon for meetings as required. The vacancy is for a permanent term-time only contract.

THE ROLE

The key purpose of this role is to secure new business and to boost interest in our services across the UK, and to support our regional staff in driving sales. The requirements of the job will be many and varied, commensurate with the needs of a dynamic, high growth business. Working within the Relationship Development Team, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Handling and processing new business enquiries demonstrating a wholeheartedly client focused approach.
  • Identifying decision makers amongst the inbound leads in order to start sales process.
  • Supporting the Regional Teams to increase awareness of our services to generate leads and bookings.
  • Progressing enquiries and leads to confirmed bookings.
  • Follow established processes and procedures for gaining leads, quoting, confirming orders, and closing out won and lost opportunities.
  • Providing a smooth handover of commissioned courses to the Training Team.
  • Looking for opportunities to upsell when appropriate.
  • Using IT systems to maintain accurate information on leads and bookings.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing working relationships with existing customers in order to enhance the customer experience resulting in future sales and referrals.
  • Contributing to ongoing team and process development.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience selling direct to the education industry.
  • Successful sales track record with a strong focus on converting leads to sales.
  • Familiarity with direct marketing techniques, CRM systems and database management.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral and an excellent telephone manner.
  • First class customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness.
  • Highly numerate and literate.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Educated to degree level (desirable).

PACKAGE

  • Annual salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays.
  • Discretionary annual pay review.
  • Discretionary annual bonus.
  • On-site parking when at the head office.

CONTRACT TYPE

  • Permanent, term time only (78% FTE). Hours: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
