We are currently recruiting for a passionate, confident, and organised Account Executive to join our vibrant team to help our software renewals business to thrive. The successful applicant will be eager to speak to our customers via the phone to help them with their software licensing renewal and build relationships to help them with their other software needs. An interest in technology or experience with licensing schemes would be a definite benefit.

About the role

As a renewal’s specialist, you will ensure that all our existing customers are contacted ahead of time to process their renewal and most importantly speak with them to understand their business challenges and position how we can help. You will be supported by our software and services specialists to best serve your customers and to help you exceed targets. Using your fantastic customer service skill to deal with incoming emails and phone calls, you’ll choose the appropriate course of action. Day-to-day, you will be following up on existing opportunities, winning renewal quotes, finding new opportunities, selling software licences and services while managing, profiling and growing accounts. This role will include a large amount of training and learning so a passion for technology and self-development is essential.

About you

You will have a least five GCSE level 4/grade C (or equivalent) and above including Maths and English, and administration experience. Our most successful people are commercially minded, focused, supportive, pragmatic and creative. Does this sound like you?

  • Must be an excellent communicator, over the phone and written.
  • A self-motivated, driven character with the ability to show initiative.
  • Have a desire to learn to be self-sufficient and the best at what you do.
  • Attention to detail, efficiency, accuracy in reports and customer communication and dialogue.
  • Must be adept in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Able to prioritise and re-prioritise during the day to ensure urgent tasks are completed
  • The ability to choose the best course of action, escalate if required but retain ownership of the issue until resolved
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable

Salary £21,000 per year plus commission

Location: Traveling distance to Ashburton – full training in the office, moving to hybrid working part in the office and part working from home
