Our client is a leading UK designer, manufacturer and exporter of high reliability products into various specialised sectors, including – Fire, Healthcare, Security and Industrial Telemetry. They offer both a catalogue of off-the-self products, and a bespoke design service when customer-specific features are needed.

As a Sales Support Specialist/Administrator your key focus will be liaising with customers, order entry and general sales and administrative duties. General knowledge of sales support function and experiences required, and an aptitude for learning a technical product is a must for this role.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Preparing quotations, order entry and giving advice to customers
  • Telephone and email liaison with customers, installers and on-site engineers
  • Following up returns with the Service department and liaising with the Sales & Service Manager
  • Maintaining records and keeping detailed call notes
  • General administrative duties
  • Hands-on product familiarisation and training will be provided

  • A competent approach to IT coupled with quick and accurate keyboard skills for processing and checking orders and dealing with emails
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office, esp. Word, Excel. Knowledge of Publisher would be a real bonus!
  • A willingness to learn about the Company and products

Hours of work

  • 37.5 per week Monday to Friday
