This is a varied Service Administrator role covering administration, customer service and coordinating mobile engineers. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their skills and career, with plenty of scope for future progression within the business.
About the Company
The company has been operating for over 30 years within the building services industry and has built a strong reputation in the local area. It’s a friendly and professional business where people work closely together and take pride in what they do.

- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, taking breakdown calls and arranging routine service appointments and emergency call-outs and installations.
- Inputting jobs onto Surefire, processing completed Engineer jobs and raising invoices.
- Using Xero if required (when their in-house bookkeeper is away) – training given.
- Dealing with general customer queries by phone and email.
- Maintaining accurate records of calls, emails and jobs.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and engineers to coordinate the service operation.
- Supporting with general administration and filing.

- A customer-focused and proactive approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise.
Experience in a Service Administrator, Service Coordinator, Office Administrator, Customer Service Administrator or similar administrative role would be useful. Experience working in a service-based, engineering, maintenance or building services environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Training & Progression
You don’t need previous experience with Xero or Surefire. Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role, giving you the opportunity to learn the systems and the wider operation of the business. As you become established in the role, you’ll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility and become more involved in the day-to-day running of the office, with plenty of scope for future career progression.
