Software Engineer (Developer) - Totnes - Devon

Our client is a market leading wireless signalling & telemetry system designer/manufacturer, based in Devon, South West England. We are on the search for a motivated Development Engineer for primarily software & some hardware design within a small team. 

This position would suit an individual at the early stage of their career, preferably with a few years project experience in a commercial environment.  Must be a self-starter with the capability to take projects through to production, including type approval submissions for RF, EMC & LVD.  

Ideally you will have knowledge and experienced in the following disciplines:  

• Embedded C, including debug tools
• Visual Basic
• Assembler
• Hardware design utilising AVR
• Low power UHF RF modules
• BLE, WiFi, GPRS
• Comms knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP networks
• Web browser apps and remote hosting also useful
• Experience with integration of low power UHF radio using digital and POCSAG protocols highly desirable
