Salary Banding up to £35,000 per year DOE + Uncapped Commission Scheme + Company on Target Bonus Scheme Anticipated OTE - £75,000+

Working on the leading edge of technology. As a Technical Solutions BDM you will be responsible for the generation of new business as well as developing existing accounts with the focus being on Microsoft technology and complimentary solutions. You will be tasked with recommending appropriate solutions based upon qualified requirements for a range of business customers – both direct via our reseller and indirect via our distributor.

You will be a proactive and ambitious sales professional with a proven record of accomplishment in business-to-business solutions sales gained within the IT industry. You will be required to apply both sales and technical knowledge, from developing opportunities through to completion of the sale and its’ deployment. Ongoing training will be provided as it is essential that you are up to date with the latest technologies and maintain technical sales qualifications to give the best advice. You will work across the sales teams and with our marketing team to position our services to our customers.


  • As a point of contact to develop sales within our existing customer base, generating new bespoke services opportunities.
  • Align customer requirements with our strategic products and services to provide the appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft CSP BDMs and Account Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Deliver technical pre-sales demos of core vendor solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to our client base.
  • Respond to customer RFP’s and tenders.
  • Onboarding customers to all services that you sell.
  • Build and maintain your knowledge of our core vendors and understand the benefits and business case to consult with potential customers.
  • Collate services requirements from a range of customers to recommend service improvements.
  • Provide expert insight to sales teams and marketing to drive campaigns.
  • Attend sales training where applicable and gain the relevant accreditations.
  • Actively research new products and markets to broaden the business offering.
  • Support marketing events that promote our business activities.
  • Achieve several vendor technical sales accreditations.


  • Experience in technical solution sales.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and requirements.
  • Understanding of cloud computing.
  • Ability to translate general highly technical concepts in business terms.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & presentation.
  • Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis.

  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and persuasive communications for multiple audiences, including demonstrating effective writing, presentation skills, listening actively and projecting a trustable image.
  • Ability to understand & analyse an issue or problem to develop & implement a corrective action plan. Applies appropriate technical knowledge and methods to resolve complex business issues.
