Test & Configuration Technician - Totnes - Devon

The Job

Working within their Final Finishing department of Production the work involves the radio set up and full function testing of each product to customer order, including the uploading of various firmware modules and configuration files.

While learning in your day-to-day role, you will be given all the support and training needed to develop and grow your skills and capability.

We are looking for someone with basic electronics experience and the ability to learn quickly - we’re more interested in potential than “the finished article”.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Soldering, wiring and electronic assembly experience
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams & fault find to component level would be an advantage
  • Ability to work unaided and complete customer orders on own initiative
  • Good keyboard skills and Windows literacy, together with fast, accurate data entry
  • Close attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, completing orders within tight deadlines
